In accordance with the Professional and Academic Titles Act, the title conferred upon graduation from the first-cycle professional degree study programme of Marine Engineering is BSc in Marine Engineering:
- masculine form: diplomirani inženir pomorskega strojništva (VS)
- feminine form: diplomirana inženirka pomorskega strojništva (VS), both abbreviated to dipl. inž. pom. stroj. (VS).
