Goals and competencies

Students get familiar with general facts about logistics (all of its subsystems, with emphasis on distribution logistics), distribution centers and types of distribution centers.

 

Students also get an insight into the warehouse business. They are able  analyzing all storage processes, with emphasis on picking.

 

Students are also able to optimize storage operations, determine the optimal location, size and number of distribution centers, as well as to search for the most optimal distribution strategy.

 

Due to their specific nature, students also receive detailed knowledge about distribution of city logistics, packet distribution as well as distribution of dangerous goods, perisherable and oversized goods.
