On 2 July 2024, the Digimar project partnership had our first transnational meeting!  

While we couldn't meet in person, the virtual gathering was productive. We discussed the progress made in the nearly completed Work Package 2:

• Overview of Internationally Adopted Rules, Procedures, and Standards
• Overview of Cases in Marine Accident Databases
• Pre-Educational Pilot Study: Authentic Routine Maritime - Communication Databases (shore service operators’ strand)
• Pre-Educational Pilot Study: Learner Routine Maritime Communication Databases (students’ strand)

Looking ahead to Work Package 3, we are focusing on:  

• Development, Deployment, and Evaluation of Instructional Videos
• Development, Deployment, and Evaluation of Chatbots
• Digital Educational Pilot Study and Evaluation
