Transport Technology
Syllabus
Course comprising:
defining transport technology as scientific discipline and practical activities, theoretical basis of transport technologies, characteristics of modern traffic technologies in individual transport sectors, basics of intermodal transport, technology at freight transport terminals, calculation of the technological implementation of transport and logistics processes.
Goals and competencies
The main goal of the course is to acquire basic knowledge about the specificity of technological processes in a particular transport sector. The student acquires specific competences that enable a scientifically-analytical approach to the study of the field of transport technology and professional competence for managing the processes of carrying out the transport service.
