The significance of maritime transport for the economic development of the world, the role of ports and their impact on the economy, technological procedures in ports, the organization of ports and the organization of terminal work, the characteristics of modern transport technologies in maritime transport, the calculation of KPI in ports.

Goals and competencies
The main goal of the course is to acquire basic knowledge about the specificity of technological processes in a maritime transport. The student acquires specific competences that enable a scientifically-analytical approach to the study of the field of maritime transport technology and professional competence for managing the processes of carrying out the transport service.
