Measurements in Maritime

Syllabus

Introduction to the general principles of measurements of physical quantities. More details on the principles for monitoring geomagnetic, marine surface and hydrographic conditions: systematic monitoring of the magnetic flux density for maritime, satellite surface observation technology, bathymetric recording including geodetic observations in maritime practice.

Measurements for the needs of maritime navigation and communication, basics of the digital signal processing.

Measurements in the function of vessel autonomy: requirements for sensors to help avoid a collision in the development of safe and economical independent navigation systems.
