Syllabus

Content: theoretical basis of transport technologies, requirements and operation of complex transport chains, integration of transport technologies into a unified technological process, institutional role and impact on the operation of transport technologies, guidelines for technological development in land, water and air transport, development and implementation of new technologies in specific environments (cities, terminals, logistics centers), economic aspects of the operation of transport technologies, basis for the optimization of transport technologies, the development and operation of subjects in integrated transport technologies, sustainable and environmental aspect of the development and operation of transport technologies.

Goals and competencies

The basic objective of the course is to upgrade knowledge of transport technologies. The subject-specific competences of the subject relate to the knowledge of the fundamental relations between theory and the practical applicability of modern technological processes of integrated transport processes of all transport sectors. The emphasis is on the knowledge of the possibilities of implementing new technological findings in a particular transport sector and interconnected operation.
