Goals and competencies
Objectives: To demonstrate the role and the significance of an in-depth numerical modelling of road traffic accidents. By adequate understanding of individual factors and their interaction, the objective is to qualify students for the most exact research and development oriented analyses in the field of road traffic accident reconstruction and prevention.
Competences: Student acquire an in-depth understanding of the factors, which have an influence to road traffic accidents. Based on this, they will be able to decide for an approach to the in-depth analysis of a road traffic accident. Students will be qualified to set physically objective numerical models that are applicable as the basis of competent following of the effects of the assumed input parameters by using different software environments.
