Goals and competencies

ITS systems offer new, advanced ways of reaching higher sustainable mobility in the present communication and information society. The basic aim of the course is to acquire new knowledge about intelligent transport systems and services from the point of view of rationalization, safety, better information, higher comfort, shorter travel times and ecological irreproachability of managing traffic flows.

The specific competence of the course relate to planning and recognizing the basic relations and solutions which integration of sensors, computers, electronics, communication and information technologies and managing strategies introduces into different traffic and transport systems with the aim of improvements, rational management, safety, effectiveness, creation of friendlier working places, etc.
