CONDITIONS FOR PROGRESS
Advancement into a higher year of study is open to all doctoral students that have completed the following study requirements and research tasks:
- For advancement into the second year of study, a minimum of 50 ECTS, of which a minimum of 20 ECTS earned in the first year for organised forms of study.
- For advancement into the third year of study, the completion of all organised study requirements from the first and second years of study. Additional conditions for advancement into the third year of study are the completion of the doctoral seminar with a successful presentation of the doctoral dissertation topic and results, and the approval of the dissertation topic by the Senate of the University of Ljubljana.
- For advancement into the fourth year of study, the completion of all study requirements from the first, second, and third years of study.
