Abstract:
The effects of interference on the reception of satellite signals presented in the laboratory confirmed the expectations that the GNSS receiver cannot determine its position. The programmable radio, used for acquisition purposes, allows the use of a variety of digital signal processing techniques that replace traditional analog circuits. Monitoring space weather in the laboratory, i.e. the changes caused by sudden sun phenomena, is limited to monitoring the rotation of a magnet suspended on a string, the orientation of which is projected by a laser onto a distant wall.
