By analogy, transport logistics addresses the optimisation of transport activities. Logistics is a science and a skill that enhances the convenience, punctuality, reliability, and safety of transport.

Our research in the field of transport technology and transport logistics in oriented toward the research of technical, technological, and organisational properties of traffic, transport, and logistics systems, in particular the planning, use, and management of these systems and their constituent elements, with special emphasis placed on their productivity, reliability, safety, and sustainability.
