Abstract:
Making decisions is part of our daily lives, and our past experiences have a significant impact. But to what extent and in what ways do experiences influence current decisions? How quickly does our memory of experiences fade? How powerful and "irrational" are habits in our decisions? We sought answers to these questions in a study of on-call performance and its variation in performance levels.
