In order to improve the digitalization of maritime transport and operations, especially pilotage, operational efficiency, safety and environmental sustainability, this project aims to use augmented reality (ARx) and other new digital technologies to develop a framework for a novel remote pilotage system that addresses the shortcomings of the previous or existing solutions and revolutionizes maritime navigation in the near future.
