Basic Tanker Safety
Aim: To provide seafarers with the essential education and training in tanker cargo operations to meet the Knowledge, Understanding, and Proficiency (KUP) requirements set out in the specific parts of STCW Table A-V/1-1-1.
Entry requirements: Completed training according to STCW Regulation VI/3 (Tanker Fire Fighting Course or (FPFF or AFF inclusive of Tanker firefighting component)).
Validity of certificate: Unlimited (5-year refreshment).
Course content: According to IMO Model Course 1.01.
Duration: 30 hours.
Course fee: 300.00 €; min 3 candidates (agreement possible for fewer candidates).
