Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS)
Aim: The aim of the course is to ensure that the navigators learn to use ECDIS and can apply it in all aspects of navigation, including the knowledge, understanding, and proficiency to transfer that skill to the particular ECDIS system(s) actually encountered on board, prior to taking over navigational duties.
Course content: In accordance with IMO Model Course 1.27.
Duration: 40 hours.
Course fee: 550.00 €; min 5 candidates (agreement possible for fewer candidates).
