Ship Security Officer
Aim: The course covers security both onboard ship and the interface between ship, operating company, and port facility.
Entry requirements: Approved seagoing service of not less than 12 months or appropriate sea service (minimum three months) and knowledge of ship operations that will enable the candidates to achieve the objectives of the training.
Validity of certificate: Unlimited.
Course content: STCW section VI/5, requirements of ISPS Code sections A/2.1.6, A/12.1 and A/12.2 in accordance with IMO Model Course 3.19.
Duration: 12 hours.
Course fee: 300.00 €; min 3 candidates (agreement possible for fewer candidates).
